On May 5, in Annapolis, MD, a GUR Cyber team lead known as “nomad” will give a 90 minute workshop via video link from Kyiv on the sources, methods, and tactics used to discover and disrupt a complex AI-enabled funding scheme that originated with the China Construction Bank (the fifth largest bank in the world in 2022) aided by Accenture’s Hong Kong office, with funds routed through the Singapore stock exchange on their way to Gazprom and the Tula Arms Plant in Russia, and HESA in Iran that manufactures Shahed drones and loitering munitions.

The Russia-China-Iran axis is not only a problem for Ukraine. It’s also a major long-term problem for the United States according to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley in his testimony before the House Armed Services Committee on March 31, 2023.

Topics to be covered in this first-of-its-kind workshop include:

  • how GUR and SBU operatives achieved network access and covert physical access to the targets

  • coordination with law enforcement and partner agencies

  • the use of drones for surveillance

This workshop will be valuable to anyone in intelligence, policy, or operations as well as enterprises whose supply chain includes China.

The information provided will be restricted to the attendees of the workshop only (TLP:RED) and may not be shared with non-participants. Visit the Safe House Global website to learn more about this and our other workshops on the same day, and secure your spot. Space is limited.
